Join UH for Houston Day in Austin

Join the University of Houston System on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, for Houston Day in Austin! This one-day trip will bring together students, alumni, staff, business leaders, and key stakeholders to advocate on behalf of the University of Houston System.

We will meet with and visit legislators and their staff at the state Capitol. This is a great opportunity to show your Cougar Pride and advocate some key points that will continue the Tier One efforts for the UH System, as well as the City of Houston and State of Texas.

Transportation, meals (breakfast and lunch only), and advocacy materials will be provided. Space is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis!

Please arrive at the UH Athletic/Alumni Center no later than 6:30 am with your student I.D. and completed the travel form to board the Cougar Express to Austin. We will return from Austin at approximately 7:30 pm. A detailed schedule and more information will be provided prior to departure.

Please meet with your professors PRIOR to the trip to arrange an opportunity to make up any missed work and/or lectures on this day.
