August 18, 2014 - The Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services would like to announce recent staff promotions.
De’Awn Bunch, Interim Director of Student Communications and Marketing, Enrollment Services
Within this interim role, De’Awn will be responsible for the following functions in working with the Enrollment Services student communications and marketing team: maintaining a centralized communications effort; providing input on content and branding guidelines for marketing/communications collateral; and managing timelines and graphic standards for print and electronic projects. She will also continue to serve as communications manager for Student Affairs.
De’Awn received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University. She earned a Master of Business Administration from the C.T. Bauer College of Business. She has worked within the Division since April 2012, and she continues to make connections across the campus to enhance marketing and communications efforts.
Ashriel Dunham, Marketing Manager, University Centers
Ashriel Dunham joins the University Centers team as marketing manager after three years of working with Student Housing & Residential Life as marketing coordinator. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma, where her major was Broadcast & Electronic Media with a minor in African & African-American Studies. She is currently pursuing an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University.
In her new role, she will lead all marketing efforts for the University Centers’ resources and programs, while providing marketing support for the A.D. Bruce Religion Center, Center for Diversity & Inclusion, Children’s Learning Centers, Center for Student Involvement, Center for Fraternity & Sorority Life, Center for Student Media, and LGBTQ Resource Center. Ashriel is passionate about student success, event planning, and social media. She is a firm believer that a student’s experience in college shapes their lives professionally and socially.
James Glickman, Enterprise Resource Planning Application Administrator 1, Enrollment Management Production Support
James transitioned to the position of enterprise resource planning application administrator 1 with the Enrollment Management Production Support (EMPS) team on August 8th. In his new role, James will provide security administration support for the UH System users of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Application.
Previously, James worked as a security coordinator for almost three years, also on the EMPS team. He has worked extensively with the help desk staff across the UH System, with University Information Technology Security, and with the various PeopleSoft campus security administrators on security-related efforts. James earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the C.T. Bauer College of Business in 2011. James has been an asset to the security team thus far and will continue to make great contributions to UH.
