Scott Radimer has been named the director of assessment and planning for the University of Houston Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services. Since 2016, Radimer has served as the director of student affairs learning and assessment at the University of Memphis. He has been published in more than five journals as well as presented or co-presented at 11 conferences across the United States.
"I am thrilled to be joining the staff at the University of Houston and become part of the Cougar family,” said Radimer. “It's very exciting to join such a dynamic and high caliber team in the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services, and to have an opportunity to contribute to the excellent work the division does every day."
In addition to his role at the University of Memphis, Radimer also is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Leadership in the College of Education. Previously, he was a research assistant in the Educational Leadership Higher Education Department at Boston College.
“I am excited Scott is joining our division team to lead our assessment and planning efforts,” said University of Houston Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services Richard Walker. “His experience and extraordinary leadership qualities will be a great asset to the division and the university.”
Radimer holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Vermont, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and additionally earned a master of science degree in higher education student affairs from Florida State University, and a doctor of philosophy in higher education from Boston College.
Radimer will begin at the University of Houston on July 1, 2019.
