Future Greek Leaders Academy Ignites a New Generation of Student Leaders
The Future Greek Leaders Academy (FGLA) brought together 50 emerging fraternity and sorority leaders for a day of learning, reflection, and community building on February 28, 2025. Designed for new members initiated between Fall 2023 and Fall 2024, FGLA offered an exciting opportunity for students to strengthen their leadership skills, deepen their understanding of values-based living, and forge lasting connections within the Greek community.

University of Houston Children’s Learning Centers Earns Cognia Accreditation
The University of Houston Children’s Learning Centers (CLC) announced that it had earned Cognia® Accreditation on April 1, 2025. Cognia is a nonprofit organization that provides quality assurance for schools, school districts, and education service providers.

UH Campus Recreation Achieves Milestone by Hosting Three Major Swim & Dive Championships in One Month
Nearly 2,000 visitors from all over the country gathered at the UH Campus Recreation natatorium this past month for the collegiate swim & dive competition on March 17, 2025. In a span of three weeks, UH Campus Recreation hosted the swim & dive championships for three athletic conferences: the Big West Conference (BWC), the Mountain West Conference (MWC), and the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
