MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMS IN KATY

All programs follow a hybrid format, with a mix of in-person classes at the UH at Katy instructional site and online learning.

M.Ed. in Special Populations (Applied Behavior Analysis)

Develop expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis for a fulfilling career in schools, clinics or community organizations. Learn how to design, implement and evaluate behavioral interventions to help individuals with autism or other special needs. No teaching experience required.

M.Ed. in Special Populations (Educational Diagnostician Certification)

Prepare to become a state-certified Educational Diagnostician and support the success of all students. This program helps certified Texas teachers build skills to assess learning needs, collaborate with families and educators, and assume leadership positions.

ACCELERATED CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS

Prepare to earn state certification through our high-quality, fast-track programs. These certification-only options are for educators who meet the prerequisites and aren’t seeking another degree.

Educational Diagnostician: Requires a master’s degree, Texas teaching certificate and three years of teaching experience
Principal: Requires a master’s degree, Texas teaching certificate and two years of teaching experience
Superintendent: Requires a master’s degree and Texas principal certificate
