Estimate the Cost- UH Extend (100% Online)

With UH Extend, you can confidently plan for college costs. We offer fully online degree and certificate programs at a flat tuition rate, free from additional mandatory fees. We recommend consulting with a college advisor for total program costs.

UH Extend students, regardless of residency, pay the same tuition rate. Undergraduate students can also benefit from the Cougar Textbook Access Program (CTAP), with the option to opt out. Paying for School

Our helpful and knowledgeable financial aid staff can assist you in pursuing grants, work-study opportunities, or loans. To apply for financial aid, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov (school code: 003652). In addition to financial aid, consider applying for scholarships. Incoming students receive over $12 million in scholarship funds.

Attend Orientation or Request a Waiver
The University of Houston offers several orientations for students to register for classes, learn about available resources, and tour the campus. Undergraduate students living outside the Houston area who are completing an online degree can request an orientation waiver by contacting our office. Graduate student orientation is recommended but not mandatory.

Most online classes use web-based learning management systems like Canvas and CourseWare. These platforms provide an online environment for student interaction, assignment submission, and exam completion.
