“The Forest of Enchantments,” the latest novel by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, professor of fiction in the Creative Writing Program, was published by HarperCollins in January 2019. 

Divakaruni is an award-winning author whose themes include the Indian experience, contemporary America, and the joys and challenges of living in a multicultural world. In conjunction with the novel’s release, Divakaruni took part in an extensive book tour, with panels, interviews, and discussions in Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, and Hyderabad.
