Ron E. Jackson holds roles as president, chief executive officer and owner of the following companies: Meadowbrook Golf, which has owned and managed 68 golf properties throughout the United States and Caribbean from private to semi-private clubs; International Golf Maintenance, which maintains 28 properties in the United States; Golf Ventures, a Turf supply company servicing 400 courses in Florida and neighboring states, in addition to Hotels and Golf Resorts in the Caribbean, the largest Caribbean Turf Company. Additionally, Jackson was the tournament director and host for six years of the Father-Son Challenge on NBC at Champions Gate, one of the courses he built. Jackson has been in this position since 2001 and completed successful openings on a number of courses and clubhouses throughout the United States.

Jackson has also served on the Pebblebrook Hospitality Trust board, as one of six trustees, since the successful completion of the REIT’s IPO in 2009. Pebblebrook’s 46 owned boutique hotels include five in Los Angeles (W. Beverly Hills, Mondrian – Sunset Strip, etc.) and five in San Francisco (Argonaut, One Hotel – Fisherman’s Wharf, etc.). Jackson is also the chairman of Pebblebrook’s Compensation Committee of the Billion Dollar Company. 

Prior to joining Meadowbrook Golf in January 2001, Jackson was the chief operating officer of Chartwell Leisure, a New York hotel owner, operator and developer with 139 properties in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Following Chartwell Leisure, Jackson was the president and chief operating officer of Resort Condominiums International (RCI), a Cendant Company with 2,600 resorts in 109 countries. 

Jackson was also the founder, president and chief executive officer of Sunbelt Hotels and Sunbelt Hotel Management Company, which was the largest franchisee of Hilton Hotels in the United States for nine years. Jackson developed Hilton properties from the ground up, such as the Hilton Houston Hobby Airport, Hilton College Station, Hilton Beaumont, Hilton Wichita Falls  and many more. In addition, Sunbelt Hotels managed many more brands, such as Sheraton and Marriott. 

Jackson is a member of the Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership advisory board. He was one of the first two board members when Dr. Jim Taylor, the original Dean of the College, organized the board 38 years ago. Jackson has served with every Dean that Hilton College has had in place since inception. 

Jackson received a bachelor of science in finance and marketing from Brigham Young University and a master of business administration degree from the University of Utah/Stanford University.
