Leland Fellows-Washington Application Deadline 
Leland Fellows are full-time congressional interns who work on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., researching legislation, attending hearings and briefings and interacting with constituents on various issues.

National Voter Education Week 
The Hobby School joins hundreds of partners across the country to promote National Voter Education Week through student-centered activities and educational programming that empowers registered voters to find their polling location, understand their ballot and make a plan to vote.

Virtual Graduate Programs Information Session 
Attend a virtual information session on pursuing an advanced degree at the Hobby School that provides insight into the admissions process, degree funding, career outcomes and more. Domestic applicants who attend receive an application fee waiver.

Hobby Leadership Award Application Deadline
Former Hobby School interns and Certified Public Managers are eligible to receive the 2025 Hobby Leadership Award for their leadership and dedication to civic engagement. Self-nominations are accepted.

Richard Murray Endowed Scholarship
Open to students who exhibit exceptional dedication to public service, the Richard Murray Endowed Scholarship honors UH Professor Emeritus Richard Murray's service to the Houston community and his more than 50 years of teaching and research at the University of Houston. Deadline to apply is Monday, Oct. 13.
