The University of Houston is on the move in the latest Forbes rankings of America’s Top Colleges for 2026, rising three spots to No. 43 among public universities.

As a new school year begins, the University of Houston is debuting a national commercial that showcases the drive and determination fueling the institution’s rise. The 30-second spot, part of the “Can’t Stop Houston, Can’t Stop Us” campaign, premieres Thursday, Aug. 28, on ESPN+ during the Cougars’ home opener against Stephen F. Austin State University.
