Methods and Systems for Fabricating High Quality Superconducting Tapes
The scope of this invention is a new method of second-generation (2G) high temperature superconducting {HTS) tape manufacturing based on metal organic chemical vapor deposition that results in enhanced performance especially in thick films. This invention has substantial benefits in applications such as superconducting wind generators, motors, cables, fault current limiters energy storage systems, high-field magnets, proton beam therapy , magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear ma etic resonance spectroscopy.
