Two new non-linear optical (NLO) materials, K3Sr3Li2Al4B6O20F and Rb3Ba3Li2Al4B6O20F have been discovered in our laboratory. Large single crystals of both materials have been grown by a top-seeded solution technique. The materials exhibit excellent optical quality, with a moderate birefringence, large phase-matching wavelength range, and wide transparency range.
