Religious Studies
The Religious Studies Program offers courses that foster the understanding of world religions and their influence on human behavior in a complex globalizing and intersectional world. Through the focus on the diverse range of religious traditions, students learn how to think and talk about religious and cultural identity. Understanding how communities and societies represent themselves—and being able to navigate and communicate across such differences—are key skills for journalists, policymakers, teachers, corporate executives, lawyers, healthcare workers, and for leaders in religion professions alike.
