Hello! I’m Shasha Misal, an international architect and marketing enthusiast. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and am an internationally licensed architect. Currently, I am a Master’s in Architecture Candidate at the University of Houston.
My professional journey involves designing spaces to developing compelling digital content. Before joining UH, I worked as a Marketing & Event Planning Manager at Nashik in a Nutshell, where I collaborated with clients from diverse backgrounds to enhance their brand presence and manage various events. This experience honed my skills in strategic marketing, content creation, and event coordination—expertise that I now apply in my current role.
Currently, at the Center for Student Advocacy and Community, I serve as an Instructional Assistant for Marketing & Social Media Outreach. I am responsible for managing our digital presence, striving to make our content as engaging and impactful as possible. My duties include creating and overseeing content for social media, newsletters, and our website. I also evaluate the effectiveness of our digital strategies, engage with the online community, and ensure our marketing materials align with our objectives. Additionally, I support the development of strategies to enhance community engagement and student success.
Outside of my professional and academic commitments, I enjoy sketching, visiting museums, and listen to jazz music. These activities offer a creative outlet and help me stay inspired and balanced.
