Finding the Honors College

The Honors College is housed in the M.D. Anderson Memorial Library (building 509), room 212.

Directions to Campus

from north of downtown Houston

Take I-45 South to the Spur 5 exit. (It will be preceeded by the Scott and Cullen exits.) Follow Spur 5 as it curves right and move into the right-hand lane. When you arrive at the first stoplight (UH University Drive), turn right. (The Campus Recreation and Wellness Center will be on your left.) Proceed to the light at Calhoun and continue through the light into campus.  

from south of downtown Houston

Take I-45 North to the Cullen Elgin-Lockwood exit (exit #44A). Turn left onto Elgin, and stay to the left; you will turn left onto the Spur 5 frontage road at the 2nd light. Follow the frontage road to the stoplight (UH University Drive) and turn right. (The Campus Recreation and Wellness Center will be on your left.) Proceed to the light at Calhoun and continue through the light into campus.  

To obtain a visitor parking permit, visit the Information Center at Entrance 1 on University Drive or the Information Center on Cullen Boulevard near the Athletics/Alumni Facility.
