INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR POSITIONING A LOWER LIMB DURING MUSCULAR ACTIVITY AND DETECTING AND TRACKING PERFORMANCE OF A MUSCULAR ACTIVITY
Innovative technologies have been developed for clinicians, therapists, and researchers to instruct patients how to position the legs and feet for optimizing a specific type of muscular contraction of the lower limbs. The technology involves a light-weight (and portable) “base-station” that is placed on the floor under the feet, in combination with wearable miniaturized electronic motion trackers, with unique features to teach and track this novel method of muscle contractions.
