Coursework and Schedule
The Mathematics Coaching Certificate program is structured for working professionals. All courses in the program are online and offered in the evenings (5:30 - 8:30 p.m. central time) with required online synchronous sessions every other week.

Core Courses
Students are required to take two core courses:
CUIN 8326: Mathematics Education Leadership and Coaching
CUIN 7342: Designing Professional Development for Teachers
Electives
Students must select two courses from the following list:
One course on current issues in mathematics education:
CUIN 7340 - Issues in Mathematics Education OR
CUIN 7335 - Teaching Mathematics to Multilingual Learners
One mathematics education elective:
CUIN 6340 - Teaching Geometry and Measurement Grades 6-12
CUIN 6342 - Teaching Probability & Statistics 6-12 Grades
CUIN 7332 - Teaching and Learning Math
CUIN 7333 - Developing Algebraic Thinking
CUIN 7334 - Develop Proportional Reasoning
