Research:
My research is focused on understanding the signaling and molecular mechanisms of skeletal muscle atrophy and hypertrophy; skeletal muscle regeneration; and muscle degeneration during muscular dystrophy. I am also interested in studying the metabolic changes in skeletal muscle under physiological and pathophysiological conditions and its impact on whole body metabolism.
